Barrett White

Background
For nearly three decades, Barrett White has operated at the highest levels of the international art market. Until founding Velaras alongside Jeff Greenstein and Michael Black, he spent the majority of his career at Christie’s, with his final role being Executive Deputy Chairman of Post-War and Contemporary Art, the Americas. In addition to the auction house, Barrett held senior positions at the galleries Haunch of Venison and L&M Arts.
Barrett holds degrees from New York University (BA) and Christie’s Education (MA) and also attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the American University of Paris.
